Managed RapidPro infrastructure, operated for you

Single-tenant RapidPro hosting for NGOs, foundations, and mission-driven programmes — with monitoring, backups, upgrades, recovery, and controlled AI integrations owned by an experienced operator, not left to your team.

In short

RapidPro is powerful open-source workflow orchestration — but running it in production is real infrastructure work. BotFlow Host operates that infrastructure as a managed, single-tenant service so your team owns the programme, not the plumbing.

What "managed RapidPro" actually means

RapidPro can be self-hosted for free, and many organisations start there. The software licence is rarely the hard part. The hard part is everything around it: keeping the database healthy, applying security patches, upgrading across breaking changes, monitoring for silent failures, holding tested backups, and being able to restore quickly when something goes wrong at 2am during an active campaign.

A managed RapidPro infrastructure service takes ownership of that operational lifecycle. You keep full control of your flows, contacts, and channels. We keep the system underneath them available, patched, backed up, and recoverable.

What BotFlow Host operates

Who it's for

This service fits teams whose messaging programme has become mission-critical and who need reliability without hiring an internal DevOps or SRE function.

Where the boundary sits

Clarity of scope keeps the engagement honest. You own the programme logic, content, and strategy. We own the infrastructure it runs on — its availability, integrity, and the controlled pathways in and out of it. We are the operator and governance layer around RapidPro, not a chatbot content agency and not a generic multi-tenant host.

What it costs

Managed infrastructure

USD 1,500/mo
Single-tenant, fully operated

Onboarding

USD 3,000
One-time setup & migration
Annual agreement

Messaging, cloud-provider, and optional AI-service costs are billed separately where applicable. Smaller or special-case deployments — for example client-owned infrastructure or older open-source RapidPro releases — can be scoped where there is a structural fit.

Is self-hosting or managed right for you?

If you have in-house infrastructure engineers with spare capacity and RapidPro experience, self-hosting can work well. If your engineers are already stretched, or your programme can't tolerate unplanned downtime, a managed service usually costs less than the first serious incident. We're happy to help you make that call honestly — including telling you when you don't need us.
